Piriton Syrup contain Chlorphenamine Maleate, making them an ideal antihistamine for addressing a variety of allergies, including hayfever, skin allergies, food allergies, pet allergies, house dust mite allergies, mould spore allergies, nettle rash, hives, heat rash, prickly heat and dermatitis. Furthermore, these tablets can provide relief from reactions to food, food additives and medications, as well as insect bites.

Directions

1. Age: 1-2 years Dosage: One small 2.5ml spoonful twice daily Maximum Daily Dose: 2 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (5ml)
2. Age: 2-6 years Dosage:One small 2.5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 small 2.5ml spoonfuls (15ml).
3. Age: 6-12 years Dosage: One large 5ml spoonful every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 6 large 5ml spoonfuls (30ml)
4. Age: Adults and Children over 12 years Dosage: Two large 5ml spoonfuls (10ml) every 4-6 hours Maximum Daily Dose: 12 large 5ml spoonfuls (60ml).

Ingredients

Each 5ml of syrup contains 2mg of chlorphenamine maleate as the active ingredient. Also includes sucrose, glycerol, ethanol and a mixture of methyl, ethyl and propyl hydroxybenzoates (E218, E214 and E216).
